Roc night cream

I bought Roc night cream at Sam's Club. It came 2 in a box for $37. Yes, it does have a warning that it may irritate your skin at first. Fortunately, I didn't have that problem. Also an ounce is a about the size of a small tube of toothpaste and is used sparingly.
I have tried several wrinkle creams and skin rejuvenators and have used Olay Total Effects during the day for several years. After using the Roc for just a few days, I thought I noticed a difference in the lines above my upper lip but wasn't sure if this was my imagination or wishful thinking until I had lunch with a friend I hadn't seen in several weeks. She had recently had a face lift so I guess wrinkles were on her mind because the first thing she asked was, what are you putting on your face. I see a big difference and certainly less wrinkles. She repeated this several times during lunch. A face lift would be better but I was overjoyed.
Too strong for sensitive skin

I was actually looking for the ROC retinol night treatment cream without vitamin C, the one that looked just like this one but came in a cobalt blue tube, but I cannot find it anywhere, either on the web or at local products. I imagine that the product has been discontinued. I have sensitive combination skin that is prone to breakout, but now that I'm in my 40s, my skin has also some very dry patches, especially around the chin, and is sensitive to most products. Also, some other creams must not have enough retinol and too many moisturizers because they clog my pores and make my acne worse. When I used this cream and also the ROC eye treatment cream (or any other cream that has vitamin C) my skin burns, it gets even more red than it is already & the peeling is excessive. This happens even I use the product continuosly for several days. At night I was using an anti-blemish, anti-wrinkle cleanser from Neutrogena together with the ROC retinol cream without the vitamin C. This treatment worked wonders. With continued use it helped my acne, evened out my tone, lightened a blotch I acquired during pregnancy and was even helping my crow's feet. I was only breaking out very mildly just before my period. I guess I'll have to find an alternative retinol product. I would appreciate any suggestions.
NOT for people with sensitive skin

I started noticing fine lines under my eyes. All my life I've been saying that I'm just going to let myself age gracefully. That was before I got fine lines under my eyes. So I panicked and bought a tube of ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. It was expensive for just one fluid once, but I figured it would be worth it.

Apparently, the expense comes from the fact that it's made from a kind of nuclear battery acid available only from CIA labs. The label says it may cause skin irritation. It burned the skin around my eyes. Thankfully, makeup covers the redness. Now I have fine lines and redness. The redness will go away. But I don't want to throw away an expensive tube of wrinkle cream. So to anyone reading this -- do you have non-sensitive skin and fine lines around your eyes? I'll send the rest of my wrinkle cream to you in one of those reinforced drums they ship pesticide in. Act now -- this offer good until the cream starts eating through the container and corroding my bathroom counter.
